One Family. One Vision. A Lasting Legacy.

One of the most meaningful moments of Heart of Broomfield’s May 28th evening was recognizing Jack Jr. and Penny TerHar and the TerHar family with the Enduring Heart Lifetime Achievement Award. More than 25 years ago, Jack's $100,000 challenge gift inspired our community to establish the Legacy Fund Endowment with a vision of reaching $1 million. While the journey took longer than expected, that vision became reality—and today the Legacy Fund has grown to more than $2 million.

Their story reminds us how a single act of philanthropy can inspire generations of community impact. We invite you to watch the special film that recounts the TerHar’s impact.

Jack has issued a new challenge: help grow the Legacy Fund Endowment to $3 million by December 2030, with matching gifts from the TerHar family.
